Happy Birthday John Lennon

He would have been 70 today (if you're in the UK).

You will be missed, but your message will live on.

I highly recommend that all of you watch this documentary
about Lennon's life and involvement in politics.

Finally, here's a song that I thought would be appropriate given the upcoming November elections in California.  It's a song Lennon wrote to support a poet and civil rights activist named John Sinclair who was arrested for giving two joints to an undercover narcotics officer.

  28. I wonder if, had he not died, would he have become a joke? A shadow of his former self? Or would he still be changing the world, would life be better had he stayed alive or was he better off as a martyr? The world may never know. R.I.P.
